NewCastle Brown Ale

Well now it's time to take a look at a fine british beer. First brewed in 1927, NewCastle Brown Ale quickly became one of the most popular beers in England. And in 1928 it was awarded the gold medal at the International Brewers Exhibition.

When you first pour this beer into the glass you will notice that it doesn't have much of a head, but that's fine with me, because once you bring the glass to you're nose you will be greeted with the most wonderful sweet malty aroma. The colour is a beautiful reddish brown, and the flavor has a soft delicate caramel maltiness.

Brewed with English pale and caramel malts, and topped off with English hops, it makes for a very drinkable beer. And I mean really drinkable!! The flavor is soft on the palate and the hops adds just the right amount bitterness. And with a 4.7% abv it makes for a good, refreshing beer that will probably find a permanent home in you're fridge.

I really love this beer and I'm shure you will too. So until next time enjoy!
