Schells Firebrick

The August Schell Brewery began it's long brewing history in 1860. Officialy recognized as the second oldest family owned brewery in the united states, it continues to brew a wide selection of fine beers.
A long and legendary past has inspired this 1999 introduction to the list of fine beers. Named after the bricks that line the old boilers of the brewery, Firebrick has become one of the breweries top sellers. And for good reason!!!!!
A classic Vienna style lager, this beer is made from 4 specialty malts, and is hoped with Vanguard, Chinook, and Hallertau hops. Talk about an excellent combination!! It has a mild malty sweetness with just the right amount of bitterness and fruity aroma from the fine hops blend. Combined with a respectable alcohol content of 5%, Schell's Firebrick will be sure to earn it's place in you're heart.
Don't just take my word for it! In 2002 Firebrick won the bronze medal at the great American beer festival. Please try this beer. I'm sure you won't be disapointed.
Be sure to visit their website given below. There you will find a virtual tour of the brewery, the full history, and a full listing of all their beers. So go ahead, explore and enjoy!
