BudWeiser American Ale review
Submitted by nuke on Tue, 10/07/2008 - 13:29
Recently, I reviewd the new BudWeiser American Ale from Anheuser-Busch. It has a newer bottle design from what Anheuser-Busch was known for on the Budweiser line. it has more of a plain lable design to me, as it seems to be an entery into the micro-brew market. it has a non twist off cap, which is a first for BudWeiser in a LONG time. I give this a 4 out of 5 for the taste and the decent price.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

Well let me tell you that I was very much supprised the other day. I was hanging out in the killspyware chatroom and asked a few folks to check out my beer reviews and tell me what they thought.
Well let me tell you something!!!! Todays geeks know their beer!!!!!!!! They all liked what they seen; then came the flood of suggestions for other beers to review!!! I have to say that I was amazed at the fine quality beers these folks wanted me to review!!!!!!! Big thanks to all of you in the kill spyware chatroom!!!!! Now with that said my choice was Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale, suggested by killspyware chatroom member "tengrrl"
To begin with this beer is an excelent example of the "pale ale" style. It has a maltiness that is quite hard to describe, almost has notes of orange and toffee. And to round that off the hops blend adds a spicy, floral aroma with a citrussy bitterness that masterfuly rounds off this fine beer.
I am a big fan of the pale ale style of beers, and this 1980 introduction ranks high on my "must try" list!!! It was the first beer to be brewed by the Sierra Nevada brewery, and at 5.6% abv and the rich full bodied flavor, you owe it to you'reself to try this beer!!!! And while you do, be shure to visit their website given below. So go ahead, explore and enjoy!!!!

NewCastle Brown Ale
Submitted by Nukenet on Wed, 03/19/2008 - 13:28 Well now it's time to take a look at a fine british beer. First brewed in 1927, NewCastle Brown Ale quickly became one of the most popular beers in England. And in 1928 it was awarded the gold medal at the International Brewers Exhibition.
When you first pour this beer into the glass you will notice that it doesn't have much of a head, but that's fine with me, because once you bring the glass to you're nose you will be greeted with the most wonderful sweet malty aroma. The colour is a beautiful reddish brown, and the flavor has a soft delicate caramel maltiness.
Brewed with English pale and caramel malts, and topped off with English hops, it makes for a very drinkable beer. And I mean really drinkable!! The flavor is soft on the palate and the hops adds just the right amount bitterness. And with a 4.7% abv it makes for a good, refreshing beer that will probably find a permanent home in you're fridge.
I really love this beer and I'm shure you will too. So until next time enjoy!
