Fable 2 ChildHood/training level walk through
Submitted by tuxedojericho on Thu, 10/30/2008 - 16:57
I recently beat the main story of Fable 2, and decided to start over again, and then I decided to give a walk through of the Child hood level, which is the training level for the game, much like it was for Fable 1.
I would have synced the audio, but didn't have the tools to do so. The video was recorded live onustream.tv and edited down to the length that it is, and I recorded the audio later while watching the video with the sound muted. I hope you all enjoy my first attempt at a real gaming video. I will appologize for the audio desync.
LittleBigPlanet Logo contest
Submitted by boredcollegekid on Mon, 08/11/2008 - 20:51Calling all graphic design enthusiasts: Media Molecule is looking for your ideas on a LittleBigPlanet logo. The aptly-titled LittleBigChallenge -- the first of many to come according to the new LBP community site -- is just for fun; there is nothing to win from this and we're fairly sure your creation has no chance of becoming the official LBP logo. You can use the (tragically small) 324 pixel-width template, or go ahead and make your own from scratch.
Creations are asked to be added to Flickr with a LittleBigChallenge 001 tag (as of this writing, two images have already been uploaded). We'd like to see what the Joystiq Design Community is capable of, so be sure to show off your submissions in the comments below.
So get your photoshop fired up and submit your entries now

The time has come. Solid Snake has become an old Vet. The Nano Machines and rapid aging due to cellular degeneration are taking control of Snakes body and mind. He is on his last mission undercover as a UN pmc inspector seeking out his twin brother liquid, and his private army. The Metal Gear series has always been shockingly ahead of there time from there first title to now. Metal Gear Solid 4 is the most stunning, breath taking console game i have ever seen. Hideo Kojima has spent so much time in development for this title and has completely paid off! From the weapon selection to game play to the twisting story. This Game is the beginning to a whole new era in console games. This series has and will continue to set trends and records. When you get behind the controls to such a complex yet simple game play you cant help but laugh and flutter over the brilliant and crazy mind of Hideo Kojima. I think all the major game review sites are right on the money when rating this game. Most sites average 9.5 -10. If you Haven't played any of the Metal Gear games i recommend that you rush out and buy this title. I believe the Metal Gear series will continue to make PlayStation exclusive titles for along time to come, and while sad that solid snake is leaving the game I'm glad to see him be able to retire.Super Mario Galaxy Review

Mario Galaxy is another installment that Nintendo has sent to the masses . This Game by far sets itself apart from any Mario game before it . The new design of the Three D universe is stunning . From jumping from planet to planet to the great Boss Battles. The camera control was pretty much spot on in every world except for some of the world where you did alot of flying. The graphics of this game are at the peak of what the Wii console can handle. It did take some getting used too with the two handed style controls.
Mario Galaxy has also brought back some of the nostalgia from the very first Super Mario with some old school Mario Theme songs that were set throughout the game. Some new Mario power ups have been added in this game you get to play as a Ghost, Bee, & Ice Mario. The old school power ups were also present in this game such as Fire Flower and Invisible Star power up. I beat this game after several weeks of playing a couple of hours a day. The game was kind of short in my opinion, but as I stated before this game pushes the limits of the Wii console.
Most of the boss battles in the game were actually harder than the end Boss King Bowser . I beat King Bowser on the first try which by the way was not hard at all. Overall I give this game a 8.5 out of 10 on my game scale. I would also recommend this game for families with little kids my children loved to watch this game be played.
