What is Drupal?!

From Wikipedia:

"Drupal (pronounced /ˈdɹuːpʰəl/) is a free and open source modular framework and content management system (CMS) written in the programming language PHP. Like many modern CMSs, Drupal allows the system administrator to create and organize content, customize the presentation, automate administrative tasks, and manage site visitors and contributors. Drupal is sometimes described as a "Content Management Framework" as its capabilities extend from content management to enabling a wide range of services and transactions. Although Drupal does offer a sophisticated programming interface, basic web site installation and administration can be accomplished with no programming. Drupal runs in many environments, including Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris 10, OpenSolaris and any platform that supports either the Apache (version 1.3+), or IIS (version IIS5+) Web server and the PHP language (version 4.3.5+). Drupal requires a database such as MySQL or PostgreSQL to store content and settings."

Dear Nuke1 community;

    As you may have noticed the site has undergone some changes in the last few weeks, along with these changes has come a decline in the amount of posts showing up on the site. After long discussions we as a group decided to change the Content Management System (or CMS) we used for the site. Along with our change to Drupal from CMS Made Simple we also decided to change the hosting setup for the site (you will notice the URL for nuke1.net is different). Due to these changes we haven't been posting as much as we hoped to, and hope to have our content output back to normal in the coming weeks.

    The nuke1.net team asks for your patience as we move around in the new CMS and get better acquitted with the layout and the ways in which we bring the content to you. You will also notice tweaks to the site on an almost daily basis as we finalize the layout of the new drupal based site. Once all of the dust is settled and we have fully learned how to produce our content, we will again start bringing you the full content you expect out of nuke1.net

If you should have any questions, comments, or concerns related to the site, please do not hestistate to contact any of us. You can email us at nuke524@gmail.com, join the live IRC chat, or post your feeling to our newly created forums.

Thank you again,

The nuke1.net team
